These items are being offered as personal property only. Barns and stalls may be removed from their current location or items can be salvaged from the properties.
8720 HEDDEN RD. – From Hwy. 57, go east on Kansas Rd., then go south on Hedden Rd. to the property.
Barns – Graber 58’ x 99’ pole building with metal lined ceiling & walls with 8’ high wood wainscoting. The structure also contains a tack room, overhead heater, electric fans, sink, 2 overhead doors & 2 passage doors. The barn houses 10 high quality horse stalls that will be offered separately.
Morton 60’ x 200’ pole building with metal lined ceiling & walls. The barn features a large indoor riding arena, finished waiting / viewing area with laminate floor with 2 piece bathroom, tack room, overhead heater, fans, 5 overhead doors & 3 passage doors. This barn houses 13 high quality horse stalls, including 6 large mare & foal stalls, with swing out feeders that will be offered separately.
SHOWING DATE: Monday, June 1st from 4 – 6 PM. Showings at other times can be arranged by contacting the auction company at 812.474.6100.
ITEM REMOVAL: The purchaser of the stalls will have a maximum of 30 days to remove the stalls then the purchaser of the barns can remove the structures. The barns must be removed by September 9, 2015. The purchaser has the option to move the buildings in tact or remove whatever salvage they would like from the iprovements. There is no requirement that all debris must be removed from the premises.
It has just come to our attention that there may be blown in insulation in barns located at 8720 Hedden Rd. If there is in fact insulation it needs to be contained during the demolition process and can be left on property inside bags or containers.
MULTI-PARCEL AUCTION: The two horse barns & stalls in each barn will be offered in a multi-parcel auction. Bidders can bid on either barn and the stalls located in those barns in any combination. For bidders who would like assistance, a Bidding Center will be open at the Curran Miller office starting at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9th.
TERMS: Cash or check within 24 hours of auction completion. A 10% Buyers Premium will be added to all items. This auction is subject to a 5 minute auto-extend closing. If purchaser chooses to move any of the buildings from their current location, purchaser is responsible for all costs associated with the move. The purchaser must sign a buyer removal agreement and have a $1 million dollar liability policy in place.
